Ten or more years of grass, shrubs and thorny brush had built up. Clearing grass by burning had minimal impact on the land. The ground underneath was still frozen. The burn gave way to what we truly need to work with and the work still needed to get our garden plants in the ground.
The burn was very slow in most parts and overall was easily controlled as it had rained a couple days prior and the frost on the grass in the early morning had slowed the creep of the Flames.
Pulling small shrubs and trees and tilling with a rented tractor up next.
