Romeldale & CVM
Natural Color, Fine Soft Wool, Endangered
Onaka has an off-white with grey / silver mixed fleece. This is an outstanding fleece weighing in at 6 lbs with an average length of 6 inches with outstanding confirmation (38 avg micron). This fleece is clean – however, you may find some small bits of VM inside the fleece (which should comb out); the fleece has been hand skirted and she was coated all year (except for that one day!—naughty girl). The fleece has outstanding luster and is very soft to the touch in the grease. The fleeces crimp is also very good with very good confirmation; overall this fleece is very good with consideration of age (dob 2015) and breed character.

Maggie has an off-white colored fleece (may have some brown or off-white) weighing 4.8 lbs with an average length of 4.5 inches with very good uniformity (29 avg micron). Maggies fleece has heavy lanolin on the back dorsal with yellowing -thus the fleece is discounted (will have yellow staining). This fleeces is clean but may have some small bits of vegetation in it; the fleece has been hand skirted and she was coated all year. The fleece has good luster however, it is greasy to the touch but should wash out. The crimp is average through the fleece and is rated average with consideration of age and breed character.

Quanita is a yearling and this is her hogget (lamb) fleece. This fleece was coated all year long and was heavily skirted; this is an exceptionally clean fleece. This is great fleece with lots of character. This fleece has banding in it which is unique, something in her diet made this patter within her fleece. The fleece has a fine decent handle, overall average micron is around 26. Length is between 3-4 inches with really nice luster.
Pieces fleece this amazing charcoal color to it. This fleece was coated all year long and is very clean and heavily skirted. Overall the fleece has a medium handle for a Romeldale with an average micron count around 27.5. Her fleece has a wider crimp structure and great luster. Overall this is a great fleece.
